If you’re here, maybe you feel like something in your career or life isn’t quite clicking.
You’re working hard, but it feels like you’re running in place. You’re showing up doing everything you’re supposed to, yet something’s missing. I get it. I’ve been there.
As someone who spent over 25 years in corporate positions, 20 of those in leadership roles, I understand the journey of navigating the corporate waters. From an entry-level manager to reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer of an asset management firm, my experiences have shaped who I am today.
Now, as an award-winning transformational speaker and leadership coach serving talented women, leaders, and Fortune 500 companies, I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of owning your vision.
That led me to where I am today: dedicated to helping underestimated women and leaders unlock their potential, grow and advance in their leadership roles, and authentically express their true selves.
I want to help you create and live your career vision fearlessly. Let’s talk about self-leadership and how it can be a life-changing concept for you.
The Impact of a Clear Vision
Owning your vision is the cornerstone of self-leadership–your ability to lead yourself powerfully, which happens to be a precursor to leading, engaging, and influencing your teams and others powerfully, too.
Everyone I meet who seeks to grow professionally knows they have untapped potential and aspire to achieve more.
However, self-imposed obstacles often hinder their progress. During my coaching sessions, breaking down these barriers usually means peeling back layers to expose and shift limiting beliefs.
Acknowledge and Embrace Vulnerability
I encounter a common sentiment: the fear of not being enough or feeling that it’s too late to make meaningful changes. These thoughts can become paralyzing if not acknowledged.
And the thing is, it’s never too late to create a new vision. The whole idea of “the boat has sailed” is just a story we tell ourselves when we’re afraid to step into the unknown.
Admitting that you have these feelings and embracing vulnerability is the first step toward change. It’s not easy to admit that sometimes, despite our best efforts, we don’t see the desired results. But know this – you’re not alone. So many people before you have experienced these same emotions and overcome them remarkably.
Flip the Script on Limiting Beliefs
Acknowledging your limiting beliefs and working on shifting them is crucial to becoming the most powerful version of yourself.
I recently met with one of our dear clients in the Women’s Fearless Leadership Mastermind, who spent six months diving deep into self-discovery, finding the confidence to recognize and harness her unique value proposition. This journey is about transitioning from a mindset that fears the unknown to one that welcomes it with excitement and curiosity.
Both fear and excitement in the face of uncertainty are based on fictional constructs—scenarios we conjure in our minds. While fear keeps us small and contracted, opting for a mindset of curiosity and energy expands our potential. This shift in perspective plays a significant role in inviting new opportunities.
Breaking Down the Vision into Actionable Steps
Creating a vision might seem daunting, especially if you get fixated on knowing every step of the journey.
The thing is, you don’t have to worry about figuring out the whole plan.
Just focus on the next step. When you start with a tiny step, the rest unfolds naturally.
Through my decades of experience, I’ve learned that keeping the vision as the North Star while concentrating on the following immediate action keeps you moving forward. This gradual progress invites new ideas, people, and resources into your life, steering you closer to your goals.
Importance of Community and Support
I always emphasize the importance of community and support in your self-leadership journey. Surrounding yourself with growth-minded individuals helps reveal your blind spots and keeps you accountable.
Being part of a community like our Women’s Fearless Leadership Mastermind exemplifies how you can exponentially accelerate your progress. You get to witness others in similar situations breaking through barriers, which validates your own potential to do the same.
The Four Keys to Advancing Your Career
If you’re ready to dive deeper into this work, I’d love to invite you to join an upcoming complimentary Women’s Fearless Leadership Masterclass while registration is open. Owning Your Vision and Unique Value: You must know what you want and the value you bring to the table.

It’s Never Too Late
Creating and living your vision is an ongoing journey. It’s never too late to embrace this process. Release the ‘how’ of achieving your vision and concentrate on the next step.
My big vision is to help develop women and leaders on a grand scale, guiding them to become influential leaders. With this framework, you can lead, engage, and influence yourself—and, in turn, others around you, including your teams.
